איך הכול התחיל?
בתי בת ה 11 שאלה אותי יום אחד על מסיבת בת המצווה שנעשה לה בשנה הבאה. היא רצתה לעשות מסיבה גדולה בישראל, אך לא ממש הבינה את משמעות גיל בת המצווה. באותו הרגע הבנתי שלבת היקרה שלי אין שמץ של מושג על האירוע המיוחד והייחודי הזה. שוחחתי עם אמהות נוספות והתברר שגם בנותיהן חשבו כך. זה היה הרגע שבו עלתה המחשבה ליצור תוכנית קצרה הסובבת את גיל המצוות, כדי לחזק ולהעצים את הבנות, על מנת שיבינו ויחוו את גיל בת המצווה כראוי. ולפי מה שעשינו ועברנו יחדיו בקורס הראשון - אני חושבת שהצלחתי להעביר להן את המסר... במהלך ששת המפגשים, למדו הבנות כל כך הרבה, נהנו וגמעו את המידע שניתן להן. זו היתה חוויה מדהימה לכולנו. תודה מקרב לב לשלושת האמהות שלקחו חלק בקורס הראשון, הלכו אל הלא נודע ותמכו בכל שלב
It all started when my daughter first asked me about her Bat Mitzvah celebration.
She wanted to have a big party with our family in Israel and really didn't care much
about anything that usually surrounds the Bat Mitzvah experience. I have then realized
that my sweet 11 year old daughter didn't have a clue about being a Bat Mitzvah age
and the responsibilities it carries within. She thought it was only a party...
I spoke to other moms and they all said that their daughters thought the same.
At that point, I decided to create a short program in order to empower the girls and
enhance their Bat Mitzvah understanding.
And I think I did it.
Throughout the six meetings we had, the girls learnt so much
while enjoying the company of each other and posing the same questions as their peers.
It was a great experience for all of us...
